"I have to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed our Tuesday mornings. You are so strong and gentle with what you know, helping to navigate this world we live in and you are an inspirational teacher with a huge heart. I felt so safe to open up and it was always fun. Your movement meditations were incredible and so gentle but so profound. I will miss my Tuesday mornings. Thank you." Love MX
“ the weekly 'Journey in being' sessions with Nicks have been something of a revolution for me in the management of the mind/ body interface. A joyous combination of Meditation, movement, yoga, words, and writing has given me a whole raft of new skills for managing thoughts and feelings.
Nicks is extraordinarily responsive and flexible, immediately able to respond to the mood and the moment and adapt the sessions in a spontaneous yet naturally flowing way. I cherish this hour every week and am awash with gratitude 🙏 “

2023 is certainly moving at high pace. Each day seems to start and finish in a blink of an eye. As humanity continues to wake up and grow, we seem to lose our concept of time. And as time starts to lose its structure so do the systems that have been in place for so long. The systems that really, if one looks at closely, benefit only a few. As more and more information comes to light, those that were called conspiracy theorists are now being heard... those that were shamed by their friends, family and peers are now forgiven for questioning the norm and we are moving towards a coming together, where open conversation is required, requested. It is a funny time, a transitional time and a time for each and every one of us to look at ourselves and face the feelings, the discomforts head on, so that we can let them go. There is no room for suppressing anything anymore, it only numbs the pain and prohibits any of us from moving forward. We become 'victims' of a controlling, collapsing society. The moment we start to feel things, face things and let things go we start to create again... we start to feel so empowered that everything around us loses its grip on us... we are suddenly free. Our perceptions change and we start to focus on our own side of the street, bettering ourselves and our own front door rather than spending energy talking about how we think others should/might change.... ultimately, very often, when we are talking about others we are avoiding what is going on for us. What is another's behaviour triggering in us? What is showing up to heal?
As we step onto the path of being, we start to slow down and to embrace each moment for what it is... of course things will knock us off centre but the more we practice the better we get at it. This presence comes with an Awareness. An awareness of thoughts, of words, of actions, of choices... and with this Awareness we connect to our creativity, our innate being and to all that is showing up for us in each given moment. How do we respond/react in each moment?
I leave you with the words of Ram Das
"If I am in my soul, when I look at others, I see their souls. I still see the individual differences - men and women, rich and poor, attractive and unattractive, and all that stuff. But when we recognise each other as souls, we are seeing each other as aspects of One.
Love is the emotion of merging, of becoming One. Love is a way of pushing through into the One.
We treat love and hate and the other emotions like they are all on the same level, but they're not. Hate, fear, lust greed, jealousy - all the comes from the ego. Only love comes from the soul.
When you identify with our soul, you live in a loving universe. The soul loves everybody. It's like the sun. It brings out the beauty in each of us. You can feel it in your heart."
To live from our soul, is to live in gratitude. To live from our truth, out hearts.
